Solid awning for the price. The build quality is good and it stands up to wind better than I expected. My only minor gripe is that the mounting brackets took a bit of fiddling to get aligned perfectly on my crossbars. But once it's on, it's rock solid. Would recommend.
It works well for light shade. The material seems durable enough. However, I wish the legs were a bit longer for more clearance. Also, the locking knob feels a little cheap. But for the sale price, it's acceptable.
I bought this for beach trips. In light winds it's fine, but when the wind picked up one afternoon, I had to take it down quickly because it started flapping hard and the poles wobbled. I wouldn't trust it in anything more than a breeze. Disappointed.
